Come for a time to rest in God’s presence through Christian mindfulness practice. The session will be interactive and will include an overview and instruction on Christian mindfulness, time to practice resting in God’s presence, and a time of reflection.

This session will be led by Irene Kraegel, PsyD, a clinical psychologist and director of the Center for Counseling and Wellness at Calvin University. She writes at www.TheMindfulChristian.com and is the author of the book The Mindful Christian: Cultivating a Life of Intentionality, Openness, and Faith. 

How to Prepare for the Session 

  • Find a quiet space where you will not be interrupted 
  • Dress comfortably and prepare a comfortable setting (examples: floor cushion, tea, blanket…) 
  • Bring a journal or something for recording reflections
