is associate professor of musicology and ethnomusicology at Baylor University; his research focuses on the music of Paraguay and other Latin American countries. As a church musician, he has served across evangelical congregations as pianist, organist, and worship leader, in Tennessee, Texas, and Asunción, Paraguay.
