We long for God like a parched deer thirsts for water, says the Psalmist.
We bear fruit when we are a “tree planted by a stream,” says the Psalmist.
And God, in Jesus Christ, offers us living water to slake our thirst, and to help us flourish as adopted children.
We gather to pray and sing the Psalms that train us to drink from this living water, deepening our trust and hope in the living God.focused on singing and praying the Psalms.

As this worship service unfolds, we'll pray Psalms 92, 42, 56, 121, 107, and 116, with music by William McKie, Herbert Howells, John Bell, Henry Walford Davies, Randall Thompson, Elizabeth Posten, Alexander Gretchaninoff, and Stephen Paulus.

This service is repeated January 24 at Third Christian Reformed Church, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
