A panel of Calvin faculty/staff: Kai Ton Chau, Maria Cornou, Pennylyn Dykstra-Pruim, Noel Snyder, Joanna Wigboldy, John Witvliet; moderated by Kristen Verhulst

What does it mean to learn and live together at a Christian university and seminary in the midst of lots of difference? At Calvin we celebrate our increasing ethnic and racial diversity, and we also recognize that our cultural differences include age, gender, ability, church background, home/geographic locations differences, and more. This past year the staff of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship has been learning and building together our CQ (cultural intelligence) so we can more faithfully work and live together in a gospel-centered way. We also celebrate a brand-new book by Pennylyn Dykstra-Pruim on 'Understanding Us & Them: Interpersonal Cultural Intelligence for Community Building' (Calvin Press, 2019). Come listen to this panel share what they are learning and how they are seeking to be faithful servants at Calvin and beyond.
