Throughout church history views of worship have tended toward polarization: Spirit or Word? Planned or spontaneous? Reverent or celebratory? Relevant or historically rooted? For God or for us?

We often think in either/or categories when leading worship, when God wants us to think both/and. This seminar highlighted many of the false dichotomies we set up in our minds regarding worship and suggest ways of embracing them as complementary truths.
